Step 1: Locate the Apple Mail MBOX files. 

The default location is ~/Library/Mail/Vx. In the case of macOS Mojave, the folder is V6. Follow the steps

  1. Open the Finder app and then select ‘Go to Folder’.
  2. Type ~/Library/Mail and then navigate to the subfolder to find files with the .mbox extension. 
  3. Copy all the .mbox files and transfer them to a Windows PC.

Besides this, you can also export the email Apple Mail folder from the “Export Mailbox” option. To export email folders to MBOX files, follow these steps:

  1. Open Apple Mail.
  2. Right-click on an email folder and choose ‘Export Mailbox’.
  3. Choose a location to save the email folder as an MBOX file.
  4. Repeat these steps to save all email folders as MBOX files.
  5. Then, move the file from macOS to Windows PC with the help of cloud storage or USB devices for this task.

Step 2: Convert MBOX Files to Outlook Importable PST and import them into MS Outlook.

Once you convert MBOX to PST, import the PST file in MS Outlook with the “Import/Export” Wizard.

  3. Choose the folder where the PST file is stored and select Next to proceed.
